Challenges Worldwide and The Edinburgh University History Society are proud to invite you to a panel discussion on International Citizen Service, a youth volunteer programme funded by the UK Government.

This information session is aimed at highlighting how its various delivery partners can aid your route into gainful employment. This discussion, chaired by Challenges Worldwide, will provide an overview of economic development and the role young people can play through ICS programmes in developing countries.

We will also hear from our professional guest speaker for the night, Julia Brown who has worked in a variety of healthcare businesses before starting her own service-based business that she ran for 8 years. She then moved into economic development and is a currently a Senior Director with Scottish Enterprise and is involved in helping a variety of businesses in Scotland to grow.

By attending this event, you will learn how involvement in International Citizen Service programmes can be useful in increasing experience, and employability prospects of young students and graduates.
