Challenges Worldwide work with a range of volunteer types to deliver poverty alleviation through enterprise in developing countries.
Senior mentors are senior development and business professionals who support ICS volunteers and other Challenges Worldwide activities as Expert Volunteers. The application process is different though and this opportunity can be accessed by getting in touch with us directly, firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer a range of opportunities for business experts to use their skills and experience to contribute to private sector development across the world. Expert mentors are often retired, but still keen to stay involved in the development world.
We provide development agencies, philanthropic trusts and international NGOs with business experts to support their private sector development work. We also run national business development projects in Malawi, Botswana and Sri Lanka.
We are looking for people with a minimum of 10 years’ business experience who are willing to give their time and expertise to help businesses in low-and middle-income countries flourish.
Challenges will usually cover a mentor’s return travel costs and accommodation while in-country, as well as providing a daily stipend. We have immediate opportunities for those who meet the above criteria and are ready to travel. We also have opportunities for those who can work with us further down the line.
Whether you are keen to start work with us straight away or simply want to register your interest, apply today.
We also have a small number of self-funded opportunities for people who are in the early stages of their business career and want to gain valuable experience in a challenging environment.
